Intentional Spirituality: The Bridge Between Knowing and Becoming

In a world obsessed with deconstruction, we rarely talk about what comes next. We applaud the breaking down of old beliefs, frameworks, and identities — but what happens when the dust settles? What happens after we unlearn toxic theology, oppressive ideologies, or limiting narratives?

This is where intentional spirituality comes in.

Intentional spirituality is the mechanism that transforms epistemological shifts (new ways of knowing) into ontological shifts (new ways of being). It is the practice that ensures our newfound wisdom doesn’t just stay in our heads — it takes root in our lives, shaping who we are and how we move through the world.

From Knowing to Becoming

Epistemology is about what we know and how we come to know it. We shift epistemologically when we encounter new perspectives, question old assumptions, and expand our understanding.

But knowing something isn’t the same as embodying it.
